At Last....

I have been bad and haven't posted anything in a while! I haven't taken any pictures, therefore I feel like I can't post anything! What we have been up to the past couple of weeks.....

The neighbor girls have been over to our house, usually from 10:00 - 1:00 take a break for lunch and then back from 2:00-6:00. Mason is having the time of his life and I am getting in a routine with all the kids! I have learned to buy disposable drinking cups and to fill a pitcher full of iced water and set it outside for them in the morning, then I send them all home for lunch, put Logan down for a rest and then start all over again. We have picked apricots, played in our tiny pool, and of course caught about 1 million grasshoppers.

We have been trying to take bike rides as frequent as possible. Blake pulls the trailer and we go for about 5 miles, its actually a lot of fun and we need to start going farther. Blake started tying Sadie up to the bike trailer and for about the first mile or so she pulls all of them and I am pedaling my little heart out trying to catch them! I only have 7 gears and have maxed it out so its not like i'm being too wussy!! Anyway, back to the point of Sadie being tied to the bike trailer it actually works out pretty good because she is on a short leash and on the opposite side of where the passerby people are, so if she tries to attack them she quickly gets a jolt to the neck and she realizes she has to keep running or she will be dragged. We took her on the 5 mile adventure and she was pretty tired at the turnaround point and was slower on the way home, I ditched Blake and just went home and I was waiting and waiting AND waiting then I finally see him in our neighborhood and there he is riding his bike, pulling the trailer, and holding Sadie on his lap... Yes, this was priceless.

What else.... Mason went through a spell of having night terrors it was miserable. last Sunday he woke up about every hour screaming and kicking with his eyes wide open and wasn't awake, Blake finally took him downstairs and turned on the TV. Then he did it the next night and we both went downstairs with him, put a kid show on, by the way he is screaming the whole time, and about 5 or so minutes before the show ended he was yelling his bed, and we put him in his bed, he stopped crying, gave Blake a kiss goodnight and was back into dreamland. He has done well the past few nights so I hope it lasts. It is 1,000 % miserable for all of us, luckily Logan hasn't woken up from the screaming.

Logan has realized that he is obsessed with television. He wakes up and says "show" and runs to the TV, so I let him watch a Mickey Mouse episode and throughout the day he says Sponge Bob which only a mom and dad would be able to decipher but yes, I am positive he is saying Sponge Bob. Is that ridiculous or what?! Actually, it's quite funny.
He fell down our cement stairs leading to our front door last night and landed on the ledge of another step and then finally rolled to the next step. Needless to say he has a big 'ol black and blue egg right between his eyes.

That is pretty much what we have been doing, lots of playing outside!
